ACTS is an international vibraphone trio consisting on Argentinian drummer Axel Filip and two new emerging names on the Norwegian jazz scene, Gard Kronborg and Amund Stenøien. Through the identities of the three composers and the unique sound of vibraphone with pedals, acoustic bass guitar and drum set, their music has a strong background in American, Norwegian and Argentinian jazz tradition. 

ACTS released their first album “The Unconscious” in the fall of 2024 through the Chicago based label ears&eyes records, accompanied by a two week tour in Norway, Germany and the Netherlands. The album is an exploration of the first musical meeting of the trio, consisting of unreleased and new tunes written specifically for this formation, the listener finds a series of varying landscapes and emotions, expressed through complex melodies and forms. With confidence the trio explores each other's compositions with an established electroacoustic sound and great sensibility in playing with each other.
