Hobbyhouse plays avant-garde improvised jazz. Formed by Danish saxophonist Mia Dyberg and Argentinean drummer Axel Filip, Hobbyhouse explores a variety of architectures and playgrounds. In complicity with their inner childs, they explore the textures of wood, toys and found objects. Hobbyhouse values timbral variation and genuineness, and seeks to translate that into sonic story-lines.

Their first -self-titled- album will release in September 2025 by the NYC-based label Relative Pitch Records.
